NABA is the largest private academy in Italy legally recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). NABA was founded in 1980 in the heart of the capital of fashion and design by Ausonio Zappa and a group of artists including Guido Ballo, Gianni Colombo, Franco Grignani, Carlo Mo, Emilio Tadini, Tito Varisco and Luigi Veronesi, with the objective of questioning the strictness of academic tradition and introducing visions and languages closer to the contemporary artistic practices and to the system of art and creative professions. NABA provides a wide range of programs to meet the needs of international art and design students.
SCDS Hyderabad has collaborated with NABA, enabling students to embark on a new journey of design at an international and global platform, giving them much needed exposure and growth in the design industry. SCDS is proud to announce their new partnership and the boundless opportunities the students can envisage in accomplishing their careers through the knowledge enriched and career enhancing exchange programs in Milan.
Currently the courses are attended by 4000 students from all over Italy and from over 70 international countries. The continued success of NABA is based on the multidisciplinary approach of all of its programs and relies upon a well-balanced combination of theory, taught by distinguished teaching professionals and practical work with leading companies and studios.
